whilst at university I have taken part in productions/assessments by famous playwrights these include:

William Shakespeare's Othello
Sarah Kane's: Cleansed.
During the time that I have been here we have also created two devised pieces of work
these include.
The Theatre of Mixed Means, which we did in our second year which had elements of Pina Bausch, Wooster Group and Foreman.
In our final year we had the chance to work with a Professional Theatre Company Maison Foo and we co-created The Adventures of Little Rumplepig and Other Confused Tales.
I am also a keen dancer but due to a muscle and joint condition I have, it can sometimes been limited but I would like to carry this on and after university spend more time doing workshops with integrated dance companies like Candoco and Stop Gap.
with this I have done a negotiated study on integrated performances and how I have a applied it to myself as a dancer. And I am currently doing my dissertation on integrated performances and how it challenges the norm.
I have also during my time here made connections with 103 The Eye which is Melton Mowbray voluntary radio station, where I have been on to promote my self as a performer but also shows that I have been in, and is being given the opportunity to get some training at the station and to do some voice over work for them.
I am also a member of equity
As well as performing I am a keen traveller and cant wait to explore new places, whether I'm touring around the country or in other parts of the world or just visiting on my own. Australia is somewhere that I want to go back to and would love to work over there.
I've have also been to Russia and spent 10 days there as part of a school exchange trip, the culture was amazing and I got to learn the basic language and I am looking into going to do a summer school or training over there.
Other work that I have done is taking part in a workshop run by Small Nose in which I learnt clowning and Commedia dell'arte techniques as well as observing a workshop by the company at the university I attend when they were doing Clowning techniques with the second years.
I have also done a negotiated study into what a theatre company would look at when forming and also what influences they might look at. with this I looked at companies that look at clowning. As I would like to further my training in clowning.
