Maison Foo and Painted Smiles

Within one off our modules in our third year we given  the oppertunity to work with proffesional theatre company Maison Foo, who helped us to create a devised performance at Melton Theatre on the 26th and 27th January 2012. 'The Adventures of Little Rumplepig and other Confused Tales.'
As well as working with Maison Foo we also had the chance to create our own Theatre Company and work as a company.

This company was Painted Smiles, and within the company we we're given the opportunity to have a inside role within the company my role was marketing. Within the marketing group we had the decison to come up with the name and logo of the company that we we're going to start to promote: Painted Smiles which we felt fitted  due to the fact that we were working on clowning techniqe  and that as performers we're always painting/creating a new face or smile.

We then looked at a creating a logo after many decisions we looked at the famous drama faces and changed them up by clowning them up a bit. And thus with our company name and logo Painted Smiles was born.
